Daniel J. MacDonald Shareholder
A
graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and admitted
to the South Carolina Bar in 1988, Danny’s practice areas are
Collections, Mortgage Foreclosures, Civil Appeals, Eminent Domain, Civil
Litigation, Commercial Law, Contracts, Severe Personal Injury, Zoning
Law and General Civil Practice. Danny is also a Certified Mediator.
Admitted in 1988 to practice in all courts in South Carolina, U.S.
District Court, District of South Carolina and U.S. Court of Federal
Claims, Danny is also a member of the Horry County and American Bar
Associations, South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Trial Lawyers
Association and the American Association for Justice. Danny is a member
of Omicron Delta Kappa and Delta Theta Phi. He is the recipient of the
Claude N. Sapp Award, Palmetto Legal Society and the Compleat Lawyer
Award in 1998.

David C.
Hicks Shareholder
A native of Myrtle
Beach, David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics
from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina and a Juris Doctor
degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in
Birmingham, Alabama. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in
2003. David’s practice areas are Residential Real Estate, Commercial
Real Estate, Mortgage Foreclosures, Collections, Contracts and Business
Organizations. He is a member of the Horry County and South Carolina
Bar Associations, where he belongs to the Real Estate Section of the
latter. A licensed title insurance agent in the state of South
Carolina, David is an authorized agent of two national title insurance
companies. He is a member of the Grand Strand Sertoma Club and has
served on the Administrative Board of First United Methodist Church in
Myrtle Beach. David further serves as an Officer and Director of the
Myrtle Beach Haven, Myrtle Beach’s oldest and only homeless shelter for
families.
While
in law school, David was elected to two terms as an Associate Justice
for the Honor Court, the body responsible for administering the school’s
Honor Code. He was also appointed to serve as a Law school
Representative to Samford University’s Values Council. During this
time, he served as President of the South Carolina Student Bar
Association as well as Vice President and Co-Founder of the Cumberland
Wildlife Society.

Anna
Scott Magann Associate
Anna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from
Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2004 and a Juris Doctor degree from the
University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007. She was admitted to
the South Carolina Bar in 2007. Anna’s practice areas are collections,
home owners' associations, litigation, contracts, personal injury and civil
practice.
Anna is also a member of the Horry County Bar Association and South
Carolina Trial Lawyers Association. While at the University of South
Carolina, Anna was on the Dean’s List, served as a Representative to the
Student Bar Association, and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta.

H.T. Rice, III Associate
H.
T. Rice earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Emory
University in 2006 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of
South Carolina School of Law in 2009. He was admitted to the South
Carolina Bar in 2009. H. T.’s practice areas are Civil Litigation,
Business Organizations, Estate Planning and Real Estate.
H. T. is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Grand
Strand Sertoma Club. While at the University of South Carolina, H. T.
served as the President of the International Justice Mission and clerked
for the South Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee.
